SOMETIMES YOU NEED A HELPING HAND.

We all need a word of encouragement or a place to share our struggles. Some people are doing well in some areas of their lives, yet still struggle in other parts.

Is that you? If so, now might be a time when you need someone to come beside you and encourage you from the Bible—God’s Word.

We believe in the sufficiency of God’s Word to handle issues of life. We follow the Bible’s description of man as a fallen creature living in a fallen world. The solution for living in this world is found in God’s Word.

While we think counseling is highly personal we don’t think it should be so private that it excludes those we love and do life with. Scripture challenges us to lean into Christ and to bear one another’s burdens. The advocate model is a great avenue for encouraging community and helping hurt individuals within the church to realize they don’t have to walk alone. “Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.” Hebrews 3:12-14

To do this, we do our main counseling in the context of Small Groups.

Here in the Biblical Counseling Ministry, our counselors are trained to lead you to Scriptures that deal directly with the issues you are facing. We want to show you where the Bible says you are, where the Bible says you should be, and most importantly how to get there. Our biblical counselors are not psychologists or psychiatrists but have received formal training in biblical counseling by The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, a national organization committed to the quality of counseling offered by its members.

If you are interested in individual or couples counseling, please contact us and one of our leaders will get connected with you.

UNCOMMON LEADERSHIP TRAINING
By Pastor Lee Lewis

Uncommon Leadership 201 builds on the foundation of Uncommon Leadership 101. As leaders, we are teaching God’s people “to observe all that [Jesus] commanded” (Matthew 28:19–20), and this dynamic training will take you to the core doctrines for building disciples. Learn how your leadership flows from the authority of God’s Word, the power of your identity in Christ, and the process of change in uncommon community.
